Performance comparison of DSF-, HNLF-, and Bi-NLF-based Optical phase conjugators

เครือข่ายนักวิจัย+ผลงานวิจัย (full screen)

Optical phase conjugators (OPCs) constructed by Dispersion-shifted fiber (DSF), highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF), and new coming Bismuth oxide-based nonlinear fiber (Bi-NLF) are evaluated and compared by computer simulation. Under the limitation of commercially available Pump power, we show that HNLF-based OPC is preferable for employing in the transmission system owing to its sufficiently high Signal quality.
